Hatzianastasis mansion, known as Kontos house and Theophilos Museum, is located in Anakasia. In 1905, the mansion was bought by Giannis Kontos, who made an adjustment work according to the neoclassical models of the era. In 1912, the decoration of the top storey lobby began by the great folk painter Theophilos Hatzimihail.

Kontos house is one of the most significant modern monuments in the region, since both the building and its painting decoration are kept in excellent condition. It is a unique Pelion mansion preserving a comprehensive pictorial example of Theophilos.
