The station itself is a tourist attraction, hidden in rich vegetation with huge plane trees staring in the landscape. You should start from the buildings of the station and walk up the narrow tracks (60m wide, one of the narrowest lines in Europe) and on your right you will find a hill with the monument dedicated to the memory of the 33 Milies residents executed by the Germans on 4th October 1943.

Right after that there is a stone arched bridge over a ravine forming waterfalls between large rocks, and all together create a magical landscape. Walking for about 10-15 minutes further will take you to a stunning metal bridge standing about 70 meters above the Milies stream, a real feat of the engineers of that time, since the train lines are curved on the straight bridge.
