Agioi Saranta

In the NE part of Pelion, at a distance of 47km from the center of Volos, Agioi Saranta beach owes its name to the homonymous chapel of the area.

The coast is washed by the Aegean Sea, is covered with fine sand and white pebbles and has few umbrellas and sunbeds. The light blue, crystal clear water lap of the Aegean Sea is ideal for diving away from the crowds.

The landscape with its high cliffs standing behind the beach, with the characteristic one being the “monk” (so called because it looks like a monk bowing), create a unique setting, which you will surely want to capture with your camera. The access to the coast is easy from the paved road, through Makryrachi. At the beach you will find small taverns and beach bars.
